Fall Workshop Schedule
The Fall Workshop schedule is available. Workshops provide an excellent overview of the changes to the PSIA program and the opportunity to meet with the leaders from your district directors. Workshops are interactive with fun activities, discussions & conversation, door prizes, and much more. A light breakfast and lunch is provided along with 4 hours of CPE credit. Don't miss this change to get ideas on improving your extracurricular academic program.
Vocabulary Daily

Anyone can participate and learn this year's words.

State "AA" Meet Information

Thank you for volunteering for the upcoming State Meet on Saturday. Here is the schedule of trainings that we will have on Monday and Tuesday nights along with the recommended and required attendance roles.
Graders for Objective Tests Meeting: (Recommended for Graders, Contest Directors, and Assistant Directors—recall that CDs and ADs grade tests as well as graders)
Video Replay: Graders Meeting for Objective Tests
Contest Director’s Meeting (Repeated Tuesday night – no need to attend both): (Required for Contest Directors without 2 years of previous State Meet experience; Recommended for Assistant Directors in case the CD fails to show up; Available to all who aspire to direct a contest sometime)
Video Replay: Contest Director's Meeting Video
Directors Checklists

Tuesday's videos are still uploading. They should be ready by 2:00pm Wednesday. -dr

Speech Judge’s Training: (Recommended for anyone who is judging a speech contest, anyone who is a speech coach, or anyone who aspires to judge speech someday)
Video Replay: PSIA Speech Judge's Meeting 2024
[CORRECTED] Contest Director’s Meeting -- REPEAT (Same presentation as Monday night – no need to attend both): (Required for Contest Directors without 2 years of previous State Meet experience; Recommended for Assistant Directors in case the CD fails to show up; Available to all who aspire to direct a contest sometime)
Video Replay: Contest Director's Meeting Video (Tuesday)
Directors Checklists
We will record each of these and make them available afterward (could take a few hours to produce). Other than that, these are the only chances to have your questions answered about contest direction, judging, and grading. Please make the most of these unprecedented opportunities that we are happy to provide. We are looking forward to having a smooth contest—the contestants deserve nothing less.

Other Notes:
Contestant and Personnel Schedules will open Sunday night. Because some of the rooms may have changed between when you printed the Winner’s Packet and now, it is best to use your printed schedule to navigate through the State Meet. Please make sure you know what contest you are assigned to, what grade level, and what your function is (e.g., Number Sense, Grade 5, Assistant Director). Your campus coordinator is the only person who has access to print your schedules. Please see your campus coordinator to get your schedule. Additionally, the Personnel Badges are required for volunteers. These badges are different from guest badges and must be printed through AMC. The print badges function will open tonight as well.
I look forward to working with you during these Zoom meetings and on Saturday.
Several eople have asked who received this and the previous email with Training information. All persons in the AMC volunteer list with a valid email address were on the list (bcc’ed). It would not hurt if the Campus Coordinators sent these emails to your volunteers again as a precaution.
